About the teacher

Jason Hulott, Speedie Consulting
"Carlton’s approach was very much focused on what we needed to get from it"
Steve Binns, The Shack
"Very encouraging, the amount of tips that he gave you, the practical experience he's got added huge value."
Trish Stretton, People Face2Face
Carlton Walls is a commercial TV producer with over 20 years' experience in DRTV, retail broadcast and promotional video.
He has worked on productions for brands including Panasonic, Molton Brown, Canon, Karcher and Next. Carlton has a great passion for video and an instinct for what will trigger audience response.
Carlton's idea behind the Smartphone Film School is simple: although high-end video needs professional production services, it's entirely possible to produce great video with your smartphone with a day's training. If you can't have a film crew with you, have production skills.
Carlton lives in Canterbury with his family, where he runs Wagon Films, a successful DRTV and commercial film production company.

Turn your employees into skilled video marketers with Smartphone Film School bespoke company workshops.
On the road, on the shop floor or behind the scenes – wherever your staff work, we can teach them how to easily capture valuable short social video segments and upload them to any social media channels you use.
We look at your business, your industry, your market and, most importantly, your company goals. This shapes the type of video that will work most effectively for you and the staff best placed to create your content.
We agree clear objectives with you and construct a course that ensures a healthy flow of video without disrupting day-to-day operations.
We can run sessions in your meeting or boardroom, or block-book your staff into sessions at one of our teaching locations close to you. Either option offers great savings against the cost of individual courses.
