Terms and Conditions of Service
THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE FOR YOUR PROTECTION AS WELL AS
OURS. PLEASE READ THEM CAREFULLY.
1) The Smartphone Film School Limited is a trading name of Wagon Films
Limited. Any official activity being carried out on behalf of the Smartphone Film
School Limited is being undertaken by staff and representatives of Wagon Films
Limited.

2) COPYRIGHT (SMARTPHONE FILM SCHOOL TEACHING MATERIAL)
The Copyright of all material that is presented before, during, after and in
association with The Smartphone Film School is considered the sole property of
The Smartphone Film School Ltd. and protected under UK Law.
Attendees may not, under any circumstances record, capture, re-sell or in any
way distribute any content created or delivered by the Smartphone Film School
without prior written agreement.

3) Attendees image USAGE
The Smartphone Film School Ltd. reserves the right to capture and own any
images, audio or video throughout the duration of the courses. The Smartphone
Film School Ltd. retains full universal broadcast usage rights of these assets for
use in, but not limited to, promotion and marketing of The Smartphone Film
School Ltd.

3.1) Attendees image USAGE - Youth Film Workshops
To ensure compliance with our Child Safety Policy (LINK) and content
management, all films, promos and other content created and/or generated
within the Smartphone Films School Youth Film Workshops remains the
exclusive property of The Smartphone Film School Limited. No content may be
shared, uploaded to video streaming or social media websites or apps without
the explicit written approval of The Smartphone Film School.

4) SMARTPHONE FILM SCHOOL CONSENTS
Attendees to all Smartphone Film School Youth Film workshops must sign the
provided consent form for image capture and sharing. All content created within
the Youth Film Workshops (including, but not limited to films, video clips,
promos and stills) may be streamed on the Smartphone Film School website,
social media and streaming channels without further consent.
Links to all Smartphone Film School content will be made immediately available
to all credited contributors.
Further distribution, including any sharing by students and contributors, is
possible. However, additional and separate consents from ALL on-screen
contributors must be obtained prior to uploading. These additional consents will
be managed by The Smartphone Film School.
5) PAYMENT TERMS
Our payment terms are strictly 14 days from date of invoice or 7 days prior to
any booked course. The Smartphone Film School Ltd. reserves the right to add
an accumulative percentage on late payments as dictated under the UK
government late payments scheme.
Youth Film Workshop payments will be made by or on behalf of the student
prior to attendance of the first workshop of the paid term.
Invoice and funds transfer is the preferred method of payment. Card payment
options will be provided.

6) HEALTH AND SAFETY
In all instances The Smartphone Film School Ltd. will reserve the right to remove
any of its personnel and / or equipment from a location if it is deemed unsafe or
if they are subjected to abusive or aggressive behaviour. Any course participants
involved in behaviour that may be considered detrimental to the successful
execution of the course in any way will be asked to leave, forfeiting any course
fees paid.
The Smartphone Film School Ltd. (as Wagon Films Limited) will have full risk
assessments for each teaching location on file and hold full public and
employer’s liability insurance.

7) non-attendance, aborting courses and re-scheduling
In the event of a course being delayed or aborted for whatever reason, The
Smartphone Film School Ltd. will endeavour to re-schedule all attendees at their
convenience.
Non-attendance without notice will result in forfeiture of any fees paid. Re-
scheduling for non-attendees is not guaranteed or implied.
All Terms and Conditions stated within this document are deemed acceptable to
the Client upon receipt of a booking or written order.
